Systems Engineer - Detroit

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer based in the Detroit area (working from home). This person will provide support to external customers with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise and timeliness. 

Job Duties Include:

• Provide Customer support for Radiance applications
• Design of new customer installations
• Provide training for new users when required
• Updating of problem tracking system with status updates and resolution details
• Install and upgrade of system and application software
• Assist with Periodic maintenance of hardware
• Work with Developers to resolve issues
• Assist in maintaining monitoring system
  

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong background Windows Server 2003 and Linux
• Oracle 
• Apache
• Experience supporting servers (ie. Raid5 arrays, troubleshooting system problems)

Desirable Technical Skills:

• Macintosh OS
• Oracle
• Apache
• Zabbix
• Router/switch/firewall configuration a plus
