Systems Administrator
The Opportunity:
Provide support to both external and internal customers with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise and timeliness. Help with the design and continued maintenance of the corporate and production environments.
Job Duties Include:
- User support for system and application problems
- Updating of problem tracking system with status updates and resolution details
- Install and upgrade of system and application software
- Periodic maintenance of hardware
- Maintenance of current IP network
- Support for phone system
- System backups and monitoring
Desired Skills:
- Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, MS Office
- Linux experience a must
- Symantec Backup Exec or other backup software
- DNS (Bind is a plus), DHCP and Active Directory
- Apache
- Router/switch/firewall configuration
