Systems Administrator

The Opportunity:
Provide support to both external and internal customers with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise and timeliness.  Help with the design and continued maintenance of the corporate and production environments.

Job Duties Include:

  • User support for system and application problems
  • Updating of problem tracking system with status updates and resolution details
  • Install and upgrade of system and application software
  • Periodic maintenance of hardware
  • Maintenance of current IP network
  • Support for phone system
  • System backups and monitoring

Desired Skills:

  • Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, MS Office
  • Linux experience a must
  • Symantec Backup Exec or other backup software
  • DNS (Bind is a plus), DHCP and Active Directory
  • Apache
  • Router/switch/firewall configuration
